Synopsis: It’s the Homecoming Dance, and teen beauty Krista Phillips wants to be Homecoming Queen. Only one thing stands in her way: she’s dead. But that won’t stop Krista from destroying everything in her path to get that crown. Melinda tries to cross over the furious ghost, but tangles once again with her old nemesis, Osiris. Bigger, badder, and back for more, Osiris lends his power to Krista and her reign of terror. Melinda must stop them both before they destroy Rockland High.

Opinion: Ghost Whisperer 3 continues the mystery of the Egyptian god haunting Melinda and a shorter story that she can solve in a few pages of comic. I will say it’s nice she’s getting a lot of help from her professor friend, he’s a fun character who always adds jokes to the script. It’s nice to have a few moments of laughter when all the rest is death and rage.  Read my full review after the jump.

I know I sound like a broken record but this story line is once again about teenage angst.  A girl dies of an accident and has nothing better to do but go after her high school problems. I’m beginning to think that maybe whoever has died and believes he’s an Egyptian god may also be from the high school era. That’s the only explanation I can come up with. Don’t get me wrong the comic is fun and entertaining I just feel like they should widen their audience by appealing to people who haven’t been in high school for 8 or 10 years and have moved on!

This comic did have an interesting twist, Melinda sees the death of the girl and the beginning of her ghost right away so there’s no mystery of who the girl is or where she came from.  Probably just a way to shorten the story eh? The one thing I miss in the comic that I like in the show is the mystery of finding the problems of the ghost and helping him/her over come those problems to move on.  You don’t get that in the comic, there’s not enough space and the ongoing issue Melinda has doesn’t seem to be coming to any conclusions.
