C’mon, people, time to lock and load!
Opinion: Guardians of the Galaxy was so much fun! I didn’t end up buying the Annihilation mini’s, and I was worried that when i bought this book I was going to feel a little lost… but nope! Andy Lanning and Dan Abnett did an excellent job introducing each character and explaining a bit about who they are, what they do and what type of personalities they have.
I am not very familiar with the new Warlock, Quasar, Rocket Raccoon, Dax the Destroyer, Gamora, Star-Lord or any of the other minor characters - but it didn’t even matter. In one introductory issue I became familiar with the situation, the characters and became interested in the mystery.
This is definitely a book I plan on getting into, and I just might go back and buy the annihilation trades, if this book is any indication of the quality going into Marvel’s new space titles.
