So Joe Quesada dropped a huge bomb in a subtle way in a recent interview, letting it all air out about who this mysterious Red Hulk actually is. As we approach Hulk #4, where Hulk and The Red Hulk square off - it would be nice to know just who this red monster is, and why he wants to destroy everything and why he killed off a giant villain with a gun of all things.
As with all intentional leaks like this, you don’t know how seriously it can be taken, ‘ol Joe could be pulling our legs.
We like to keep things spoiler free around here, so find out who’s behind the Red Hulk rampage going on in Hulk right now, after the jump.

Almost everyone knows by now that the new Incredible Hulk movie is wallowing in turmoil between marvel and Edward Norton. What no one actually knows is the truth of the situation. Edward Norton submitted a full statement on the matter today.
Just about every Hulk fan abound is fearful that this new Incredible Hulk movie will do more damage to The Hulk than even Ang Lee’s 2003 Hulk movie that fell flat on its face. The movie only grossed $132 million domestically. Not just the fans are wary, but Marvel too. It is rumored that they have sunk $525 million into funding its own films rather than leave it in the hands of other studios.
Still declining interviews, Norton feared he was being branded a “pain in the ass” in the press. It is revealed that the feud was not really a feud at all, just some slight contention about 15 minutes of the film!

Wizard Magazine has clarified the situation regarding Edward Norton and his involvement with the script writing of the new Incredible Hulk movie. Apparently Zak Penn wrote the original draft of the movie and Edward Norton did a rewrite without mentioning Zak Penn’s involvement in a recent interview (see below).
Cynical celebrity site wwtdd.com had this to say:
Despite all evidence to the contrary, Ed Norton told the ComicCon convention this weekend that he wrote the screenplay for next summers “the Incredible Hulk”, in which he stars. This was all big news to Zak Penn, who until that moment was known by all to be the only writer involved with the project and unquestionably the one who wrote the screenplay. Norton said:
“Well, you’re making me be immodest … I came into this and I wrote the screenplay. I was a Marvel kid growing up, and I used to subscribe to a lot of the books. Remember when they used to come in plastic with the little piece of scotch tape on the back? This story has almost limitless potential in it to be remade and redone. It’s a really classic modern mythology.”
At first glance, it would seem Norton is just being an @*!hole and taking false credit for work that is not wholly his own, which is hard for me to accept as he is an excellent actor in my opinion, and I have enjoyed almost every project he has been involved with. But who really knows what goes on behind the scenes? It’s clear the media likes to villianize a lot of celebrities, and I’m sure the Comic movies are no exception.
We’ll see how the actual MOVIE is, because in general, I think Comic fans are smart enough to care more about the story than the celebrity BS behind it.
I’m pretty proud of our culture for just this fact
[I just hope it's better than the Hulk movie that came out a few years ago.]

Opinion: This story is AWESOME! Seriously. The writing is great. The art is great. I was not disappointed at all. Before I read this I use to think that the hulk sucked. I use to think that the hulk was a charecter that could not be taken seriously. Nut after reading this my opinion on hulk changed. This is a book you should defiantly pick up.
