World of Warcraft #9
Storyline: Through the Mirror Darkly
Date: July 16, 2008
Price: $2.99
Writer: Walter Simonson

Artists: Jon Buran and Jerome K. Moore

Synopsis: Lo’Gosh, Valeera, Broll, and Thargas make their way to Ironforge via a circuitous route through the Wetlands. And back in Stormwind, Prince Anduin suspects all is not as it seems with his father, King Varian.

Opinion: OMG!! I know I keep saying this but these issues get better and better! This one was the best I’ve read yet! The story line is easy to follow, yet the plot thickens with every issue. Each character develops a little more as the heroes move toward their goal. In my haste to explain how good this issue was I may have ruined some of the plot so… click through the jump to read on and spoil it for yourself

World of Wacraft #8
Storyline: The Return
Date: June 18th, 2008
Price: $2.99
Writer: Walter Simonson
Artist: Jon Buran and Jerome K. Moore

Synopsis: “The Return” begins a new story arc set in the WORLD OF WARCRAFT. Upon learning he is in fact the missing king of Stormwind, Lo’Gosh returns to reclaim his throne with his comrades-in-arms Valeera, and Broll. But all is not as it seems in the eastern kingdom, especially if one informed dwarf has anything to say about it. Enter Thargas Anvilmar!

Opinion: The World of Warcraft issue number 8 is just as good as its predecesors. The art is perfectly drawn showing the richness of the characters and the world they live in. Our heros are once again brought to life with detail and imagination in the art and the writing.

World of Warcraft 7
Storyline: Revelations
Date: May 21, 2008
Price: $2.99 US

Writer: Walter Simonson

Artist: Ludo Lullabi and Sandra Hope

Synopsis: During a sea voyage to Menethil Harbor, Lo’Gosh is attacked by the naga, led by a powerful female siren. Further secrets of Lo’Gosh’s past are revealed and Valeera proves far more powerful — and more vulnerable — than any, but Broll, had suspected.

Opinion: World of Warcraft episode #7 continues to impress! I know I keep saying how much of a nerd/fan I am of the whole WOW adventure but this comic series is just as fun as the game itself! In this latest episode our unlikely heroes head toward “civilization” and run into some trouble along the way.

The art continues to do justice to the characters created by Blizzard, for those of you scratching your heads, that’s the company that creates the World of Warcraft game online. In this recent episode the Naga attack from the bottom of the ocean, just our of pure spite of the “land dwellers.”

World of Warcraft #6
Storyline: Blood
Date: April 16, 2008
Price: $2.99 US

Writer: Walter Simonson

Artist: Ludo Lullabi and Sandra Hope

Synopsis: The past comes alive as our heroes reach Theramore, where the lore of Jaina Proudmore reveals Lo’Gosh’s hidden identity. But has it truly done so? Meanwhile, life’s not easy and definitely not for a blood elf. Valeera is trying to help her friends, but things will get complicated while the human assasin is getting closer to Lo’Gosh.

Opinion: The World of Warcraft comic does a good job of bringing the World of Warcraft universe alive and together into one story.  Admittedly I have the most experience with the video game, though the art in the comic book does reflect the art with the cards.  I have got into the recent story in episode 6 so I’ve missed most of what is going on.  However, I will say that the story can be started at any episode, the book does a nice job of catching you up with what you missed and still continuing the story.

For those of you who play the video game this is a fantastic comic!  Read my full review of this comic after the jump!
