Synopsis: Having successfully created the worlds first enhanced humans, two rival companies have to navigate the sketchy world of venture capitalists in order to secure the necessary funding to take their their companies public. Hi-larious.

Opinion: Transhuman continues to impress as Jonathan Hickman and JM Ringuet bring to life the faux documentary, exploring the freakish setting of Miami and the treacherous waters of venture capital ambition.

Again a compelling story is woven through with humorous twists as our bland host guides us through the history of both companies and the discovery of their differences and similarities in experiments and accumulation of funding.

This comic is pure fun and breaks new ground in storytelling.  It’s not the best thing ever by any means – just different enough from the norm that it becomes a welcome change in the medium.  As we explore the  science fiction aspect of the story, we’re treated not only to multi-dimensional characters and humor, but also a unique perspective on an imaginative plot.

I recommend this book if you’re a thinker and enjoy more than just superhero books.
