As a lifetime X-Men fan, X-Men reboots are, IMO, the best team reboots that Marvel has to offer.

Avengers reboot: Secret Avengers is an okay team at best...Mighty Avengers is, well, not that mighty...

Fantastic Four reboot: Enjoyed the Panther/Storm fill in...kinda put into proper scope Panter and Storm as heroes. (Storm pissing off the Surfer was classic!) But FF will always return to the original line-up. :-(

The ENTIRE 50 state bologna is bogus at best...

Alpha or Omega, the Canadian Flight team has always been 3rd rate at best...

And despite the other changes to the X-Men, this is the first time that we have a new dreamer in Cyplops. And I think he HAD to disband the X-Men to make his vision of the team possible. This book here allows for the letting go of things being done the old way and to say goodbye to how the X-men were. Funny, I thought Nightcrawler's story (coupled with the Beast) was the best foreshadowing to things to come and the best short in the book. AND IT'S LONG OVERDUE...
