You know, i’ve been a Joe fan since the 12 inch figures(yes I am close to that old). I loved the toys as a kid and consequently loved the cartoon and almost anything to do with the GI Joe world. I have to say, after seeing some of the set pics and the teaser pics, that this movie, which I was SO excited to see, is possibly going to be one of the WORST travesties of cinema ever made. And I include the remake of Godzilla, the unreleased original Fantastic 4 movie, the 1970’s Captain America movie. This will make them all look Oscar worthy. I mean WTF costume guys? What’s with all the gay ass body armor? Snake eyes in a rubber suit? Destro with a face? Storm Shadow in a trench coat? Come on!! Get something right, start from scratch and make it better. I can only hope someone messed up and these are teaser pics for a new Starship Troopers movie, please, God, don’t let this happen.

Lol, the poster looks kind of cool, though, even though I’m not really a GI Joe fan and probably won’t see this movie.

Call me an annimation snob or a devout Bakshi or Kricfalusi fan but I can’t stand any of these 80s cartoons. It was all about pushing a product, hell even the transformers live action movie last year was about pushing toys and Chevy’s.

That might just be me though.
