Comic Book News & Reviews – Be Heard @ Comic Nerd
Last week was a deluge of news for us, we had a lot of cool stuff come through the pipeline, including a new fun trailer for Iron Man, and a viral video for The Dark Knight featuring Rachel Dawes plus the unveiling of the new Alex Ross cover for Uncanny X-Men #500!
This coming week we get #6 of the incredibly fun, not-yet-reviewed new World of Warcraft series, and #1 of the X-Men: Divided We Stand 2 issue mini. Aside from those two that caught my eye personally, it appears there are a lot of mini series that are coming to a close this week, or near to it. A lot of 5 of 8’s, 5 of 5’s and 6 of 6’s.
A little birdie also told me about some awesome news for you Anita Blake fans out there – it looks like Marvel will be doing another mini based on Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake: The Laughing Corpse in the near future.
Finally, I wanted to plug a new ‘zine that looks like it might be a good read for us adult collectors: Comic Foundry. It reminds me of Wired magazine a bit, in style anyway. But the topics seem to hover around interesting based on the covers I have seen. I haven’t seen any of these locally but from what I see on the web it doesn’t look too bad.
