There is a TON of announcements and cool things coming out of Comic_Con, big surprise, right?
Sorry, do I sound a little bitter about not being able to go? You betcha! But that’s what the Internet is for. 
Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan were doing a panel at Comic-Con and officially announced Red Sonja for 2010. Rodriguez will be producing, Rose will be starring and directed by Douglas Aarniokoski.
I think the only hope for this movie is to not take it too seriously, and be a bit tongue-in-cheek about it.
However, Rose McGowan is looking HOT in these teaser posters for the movie.

I don’t know if I could care any less about this film. Mcgowan is terrible! Cute yes, but an actress? No! The only reason she has this job is because she’s married to the producer. I remember hearing about this project being shelved because the studio did not want McGowan attached to the project. Looks like Rodriguez got what he wanted, a 90lb waif barbarian and the director of Highlander: Endgame which pulled in a whopping $12,811,858 back in 2000. Nice choice Rob and good luck.

If my math is correct this means that Rose McGowan will be dating Flavor Flav some time in 2045…
Seriously though, I don’t think I could name a woman who would actually do Red Sonja justice and I would really not have chosen miss McGowan.

I am with mbomb on this. I could really care less about this movie. They should really only stick to making movies about major characters. It will probably be about as good as blood rayne.

Lol @ the bloodrayne movie reference. Seriosuly though, this look like complete slock to pick up a few bucks. We could really find a better movie to focus an entire article on…
