Hello! I have been crazy busy with work lately, but that’s not stopping me from doing reviews - things are just moving a bit slower than I’d like. In the meantime, though, I am very curious about my readers. There’s been quite a few recently and I was hoping you’d be willing to tell me a bit about yourselves, what you’re into and also, what you’d like to see covered/changed on this site.

The original purpose of ComicNerd.com when I started the project was to garner individual opinions from my readers. I do plan on offering a lot of incentives and prizes for participating on this site in the near future, this is a given. There’s a lot of goodies I’ve been saving up over time to prepare for this site - but that’s a bit down the road.I absolutely love this site and the content it covers and I have a lot of fun doing it, but I think it will only truly shine when you get involved.

So, it’s only fair for me to introduce myself a bit to my readers

My name is JC and I work in the Internet Marketing industry. Back when I was self-employed I got a bit burnt out with the web and so I decided to build a fun site that was focused on just my hobbies and not about making a profit. That’s why there’s presently no advertising on this site! I live in the midwest and I’m over the age of 25, I have no kids yet (which is fine, I’m not done being one myself!). I’m a huge Marvel fan, if a bit disillusioned and I love indies. I’d like to read more DC but end up fairly confused when I try. I have two cats who like sleeping on top of my comic boxes and I spend my spare time playing Halo 3, World of Warcraft and finishing up my degree. I plan on going on to get my Master’s (in Colorado, I believe) in Cognitive Science.
